Non-Affiliation: RAAA is not an agent, department, or legal affiliate of Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU).
Hosting Relationship: RAAA content is hosted by EMS Advisors’ website as a service to the architectural community. Use of the RAAA section of this website does not create a professional advisory relationship with EMS Advisors.
By registering for or attending any RAAA-organized event (social, professional, or otherwise), you agree to the following:
Photography & Media Consent: You acknowledge that RAAA may take photographs or video recordings during events. By attending, you grant RAAA a perpetual, royalty-free license to use your likeness in promotional materials, social media, and on our website to showcase community activities. If you do not wish to be photographed, please notify an organizer upon arrival.
Assumption of Risk: You voluntarily assume all risks related to attendance. RAAA, its volunteers, and its legal custodians (Wabasha Projects Inc.) shall not be held liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property occurring during an event.
Association Branding: The RAAA name and logo are proprietary. Membership or event attendance does not grant a license to use the RAAA brand for commercial firm promotion or personal endorsement without express written consent.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, RAAA, its leadership, and EMS Advisors shall not be liable for:
Inaccuracies in the information provided by alumni members in directories or forums.
The conduct of third parties or attendees at RAAA-organized social or professional events.
RAAA reserves the unilateral right to remove any individual from the Contacts directory or revoke website/event access if these Terms are violated or if the individual’s conduct is deemed harmful to the reputation or safety of the association and its members.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada. Any disputes shall be settled in the jurisdiction of Toronto, Ontario.
